About this piece: Berthold Brecht in this case is not a playwright and socialist, it's a winch on a boat on Virginia's Atlantic coastline. If I recall correctly, the boat is called "Still Kickin'." I kept looking at the piece and deep inside me the titling homunculus in my brain kept whispering "Berthold Brecht, Berthold Brecht." Where do disparate associations come from? Hell if I know. Something about it is sorta Brechtian.
